Our Founder and President, Dr. Jeffrey Montoya, has been a massage therapist for 12 years and a massage educator for 7 years. He hold a diploma in therapeutic massage from Madison College and a doctorate of health professions education from Logan University.

Our Founder and President, Dr. Jeffrey Montoya, has been a massage therapist for 12 years and a massage educator for 7 years. He hold a diploma in therapeutic massage from Madison College and a doctorate of health professions education from Logan University.
He has been a dedicated volunteer with the American Massage Therapy Association serving both the Wisconsin Chapter and as a national volunteer. In 2019 was honored with the Jerome Perlinski Teacher of the Year Award. In addition to AMTA, Jeffrey has volunteered with the National Certification Board of Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and the International Consortium of Manual Therapies.
Jeffrey founded the Academy of Health in order to make massage education affordable and convenient in order to help others achieve a meaningful career in massage therapy..

She definitely still has the training and knowledge of a doctor of chiropractic. Why did she stop working as a Chiropractor? Her son was born, with some issues, and it was important that she stay home with him.
Today, she brings her 14 years of experience of healing bodies as Chiropractor and her experience as a massage therapist to our classroom. She has many advanced tools in her tool bag that she shares with our students.

Debbie has been a licensed massage therapist for eleven years and a massage instructor for three years. Her passion and specialty in the massage field are deep tissue techniques and clinical applications for massage.

Jesse is a Teaching Assistant for our West Allis site. He is a graduate of Academy of Health. In addition to being a licensed massage therapist, Jesse is a person trainer with a strong back ground in exercise and fitness.
